Honey Baked Beans

  • 4 slices – bacon, diced
  • 1/2 cup – onion, chopped
  • 4 1/2 cups – cooked navy beans*
  • 1/2 cup – honey
  • 1/2 cup – ketchup
  • 1 T – prepared mustard
  • 1 T – Worcestershire sauce


  • Begin by heating oil in a sauce pan over medium heat. Sauté your diced bacon and chopped onion in the pan until the onion is tender. 
  • While the bacon and onion are sauteéing, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Farenheit. 
  • Combine your beans, honey, ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce in a shallow, 2-quart, oven-safe baking dish. Add the sauteéd bacon and onion to the mixture and mix again. 
  • Place aluminum foil over the dish and bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes. 
  • After 30 minutes, uncover the dish and bake for another 45 minutes. 
  • Let cool and enjoy.
