In a large plastic bag, add ginger, garlic, soy sauce, orange juice, honey, and the chopped green onion. Combine. Then, place the salmon in the mixture and seal the bag. Gently distribute the marinade across the filet by turning the bag.
Refrigerate the marinading salmon for 15-30 minutes.
Preheat your outdoor grill to medium heat. Lightly oil the grill’s grates.
After it has marinaded, remove the salmon, allow the excess marinade to fall off, and grill the filet for 12-15 minutes per inch of thickness (or until the fish flakes apart easily with a fork).
